The HyperBeam CNC Fiber Laser from CanCam is an industrial metal cutting machine designed for businesses that need high accuracy, fast processing, and long term reliability. The machine is CSA certified to meet strict electrical standards in Canada and built with many quality tier 1 components such as Yaskawa servos, SMC pneumatics, Wittenstein helical rack and Rexroth linear guides to name a few. It cuts steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals using a high efficiency fiber laser source and an auto focus cutting head. The machine is built on a rigid welded steel frame for stability and consistent precision during production. The fiber laser resonators used for this model range from 6 kW - 30 kW. HyperBeam is part of the CanCam Advantage framework (Discover → Build → Train → Grow → Sustain) path, meaning customers receive a full lifecycle of support: application discovery, installation, training, optimization, and long term service.
Description
The controller is straightforward to use and the model is loaded with all sorts of features like automatic fume extraction zones so the fume extractor is focused on the area where the laser head is cutting, red dot positioning, integrated nozzle cleaning function, graphite grounding bars (also called carbon discharge strips) specifically to discharge electrostatic buildup that forms during high power fiber laser cutting, laser light curtains for safety in the loading area and cameras on the inside and outside.
The auto shuttle table can be actuated from the rear of the machine or the controller at the front. The controller comes standard with nesting capabilities built in.
