CanCam Infrared SOMP40 work offset touch probe

The CanCam SOMP40 infrared work offset probe consists of a probe body and receiver. When the probe contacts the surface of the workpiece, it deflects, resulting in a change in the probe’s internal circuit signal. The trigger signal will be transmitted to the infrared receiver.

This probe can be used to locate work offsets, check feature measurements, and set up a digitizing probe. It comes standard with BT30 (ISO30) spindle taper, but the HSK taper is also available.
